Our Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Statement SCAHC supports the development, expression, and preservation of art and culture for all communities, groups, and individuals. We will work to ensure that diverse populations have opportunities to appreciate and value all arts and culture. | What We Do: We provide funding for Sussex County Arts, History, and Social programs by distributing grant funds provided by the State of New Jersey to approved nonprofit organizations. . Although we retain a small sum from the grant funds for expenses incurred administering the Re-Grant Program, it only covers a fraction of our costs. We must make up the difference with the help of our Sponsors and Supporters (check out the full list HERE), contributions by our Members, and our fundraising activities. Funding of the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council has been made available in part by the NJ State Council on the Arts, a division of the NJ Department of State and a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, through the State/County Partnership Block Grant Program, as administered by the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council. Additional funding has been made available in part by the New Jersey Historical Commission through the County History Partnership Program, as administered by the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council. Partial funding provided by the Sussex County Board of Commissioners.
