David John Rush

Artist

David John Rush, well known teacher, graphic designer and color consultant, began his investigations into color psychology while an art student, He continued his research during his professional career, ultimately meeting and joining Hannes Beckmann and Josef Albers, Charles N. Smith and Ben Cunningham. Through this association he was invited to work with Albers during the summer of 1967 in New Haven. He was also invited to the Bauhaus Museum and Archives in 2002.He has had over 100 solo shows and 8 Museum shows. His work is in many private collections throughout the world.

The exhibition includes over 30 works some of which are new. 

David is featured in a new book, “New Jersey Artists through Time” by Tova Navarra. Published by Font hill Media, the 300-page book celebrates the legacy of New Jersey’s prominent artists through the state's 350 years of existence. “
